Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has ordered removal of Medical Superintendent of Lahore’s General Hospital for poor arrangements at the health facility, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During his three-hour visit to General Hospital on Thursday, the chief minister also delivered last warning to Principal Fareedul Zafar for improving the performance.
Mohsin Naqvi also took notice of closure of the air-conditioner.

Punjab CM Naqvi visits PIC; inquires after patients
Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday visited the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) and reviewed the facilities being provided to patients at the hospital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The chief minister went round different wards of the hospital, inquired after the patients and asked them whether they were satisfied with the attitude of the hospital staff and facilities being provided to them, particularly primary angiography.
The patients as well as their attendants told CM Naqvi that they were satisfied.
He directed doctors and nurses to look after the patients, saying The Almighty Allah rewarded those serving ailing humanity not only in this world but also in the life hereafter.
He also directed the staff to shift the patients whose condition had improved to the emergency ward.
The chief minister said keeping in view an increase in the number of patients visiting the institute, the Punjab government had decided to increase the number of beds as well.
PIC Chief Executive Dr. Ahmad Nauman and MS Dr. Tehseen, on the occasion, briefed him about the facilities available at the hospital.
CM takes notice of power outage in Ganga Ram Hospital’s operation Theater
Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Muhsin Naqvi has taken notice of incident of power cut in the operation theater of Ganga Ram Hospital on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In this regard he instructed the Provincial Minister Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Dr. Javed Akram and Secretary Health Ali Jan to conduct an inquiry.
Incidents of power outages and non-functionality of alternative systems in the operation theater should be investigated and reported, Mohsin Naqvi further instructs.
Punjab CM said that action should be taken by determining those responsible for negligence.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the inquiry team reached Ganga Ram Hospital.
