Morning walker injured in Islamabad knife attack

A morning walker was injured in a knife attack in the famous F-9 Park in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The capital park located in F-9 is called Fatima Jinnah Park and was very attractive for people who go out of their houses early morning.

The attacker stabbed and injured the citizen when he was busy in his morning walk on a jogging track in the park.

Police reached the spot and shifted the injured citizen to hospital, however, the accused was still at large.

The police vowed to arrest the attacker at the earliest.

Newly appointed IG Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younis took notice of the incident and ordered immediate action over the knife attack.
