The judiciary has decided to train judges for cutting down on ever-increasing caseload by disposing of frivolous cases in their preliminary stages, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Training of the judicial officers has become imperative as the number of cases in lower courts has now soared to over 200,000.
Justice Jawad Hassan of Lahore High Court has delivered an online lecture to the judicial officers in this regard.
Though he was not feeling well, still Justice Jawad Hassan virtually lectured the judges of Rawalpindi Division from house in Lahore.
While addressing the judges, Justice Jawad Hassan said that if the case is not solid if should killed off in the early stage.
He maintained that disposing of unnecessary cases on their first hearing will automatically lessened the burden of cases on courts.
Prolonging such cases, the LHC judge said, will waste the time of judges, lawyers and the litigants.
Justice Jawad Hassan also replied to the questions asked by the judicial officers.
