PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has said that Imran Khan’s rule is taking its last breaths as the lawmakers are ready to jump his sinking ship, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to newsmen after court appearance in Islamabad on Thursday, Maryam Nawaz said the public was fuming and the government members and its allies did not have the courage to take the field.
Regarding the hearing of Avenfield reference, Maryam claimed that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had no proof to present against her in the court today. “Today the ‘NAB-Niazi’ nexus lies exposed,” she said, and added that truth always had the final say.
Making yet another claim, she said that the days of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government were numbered.
“The defeated mindset of the ‘selected’ PM Imran Khan is evident in his speeches,” she said, adding, “People are itching to grab him by his throat.”
PML-N vice president was of the view that sending the present government home had now become binding on political parties. “Members of the parliament (MPs) are already ready to vote in support of no-confidence motion against the ‘selected’ prime minister and members of his cabinet,” she said.
Maryam said it was her advice to Imran Khan to wear helmet before going into crowd for his safety.
She said members of the PTI and those in the allied parties were very much aware that they could not go into public before elections.
