PM Special Assistant on Interior and Legal Affairs Attaullah Tarar was fumed at the Punjab government order to ban the entry of federal ministers in the provincial assembly daring the provincial authorities as how could they stop them from stepping into the building, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Reportedly, the Punjab Assembly staff closed the gates of the building and stopped Attaullah Tarar’s vehicle from entering the assembly. The PM aide flew into rage. The security staff explained to him that the higher authorities instructed them that no federal minister was allowed to enter the provincial assembly today.
However, the security staff could not deter Attaullah Tarar and he entered the building along with his Rangers escort.
On this occasion, talking to media, Attaullah Tarar said that the Punjab government banned the entry of federal ministers in the provincial assembly today. Besides him, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Railways Minister Saad Rafiq were banned from entering the provincial assembly.
The PM aide challenged the Punjab authorities that they could not stop them. He said that last night MP Khalil Tahir Sindhu said that the assembly secretary informed that Rana Sanaullah and Attaullah Tarar could not attend the assembly session on Tuesday (today).
“If something happens to any leader, Ch Pervaiz Elahi and his son will be responsible for that,” Attaullah Tarar said urging Elahi to take vote of confidence.
