Two men's World Cup skiing races scheduled for Garmisch-Partenkirchen later this month have been cancelled because of lack of snow, the International Ski Federation (FIS) said on Tuesday.
After organising a men's slalom on January 4, the German ski resort had been due to host a men's downhill and giant slalom on January 28 and 29.
"FIS is working on a replacement," FIS said in a statement.
Exceptionally mild temperatures across Europe have melted snow at high altitudes.
