Rasikh Elahi, son of Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi, appeared before an FIA team in connection with money-laundering case, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

The FIA summoned Parvez Elahi’s family members, including two daughters-in-law.

The family has been facing charges of money laundering through Punjab Assembly employee Qaiser Iqbal Bhatti.

Information and documents on the remittance of funds and foreign travel have also been sought, according to FIA officials.

Reportedly, the names of Parvez Elahi’s family members have been put on the no-fly list. The interior ministry placed the names of Parvez Elahi’s wife, Moonis Elahi’s wife, Rasikh Elahi and his wife on the exit control list.
