PIA, private airlines increase fares by 114 percent ahead of Eid-ul-Azha

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and other private airlines in the country have jacked up their fares up to 114 per cent ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

After the increase in fares, one-way tickets from Lahore to Karachi are being sold up to Rs13,000 from the previous Rs7,000. It has been reported that the return ticket of Lahore-Karachi reached at Rs25,000.

According to details, national and all the private airlines have increased their fares: PIA’s two-way ticket from Karachi to Islamabad has now reached at Rs13,000 while the return ticket of Karachi-Islamabad reached Rs25,000.
