PCB chief gives free hand to cricket coaches

The coaches of the Pakistani cricket team met with Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday and discussed a strategy to boost performance of the players as a team, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Whiteball head coach Gary Kirsten, red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie and assistant coach Azhar Mehmood held a detailed meeting with Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore.
During the meeting, it was decided to formulate comprehensive plan to improve batting, bowling and especially fielding.
The players’ inclusion in the team will be subject to fitness, it was decided in the meeting.
There is no shortage of talent in the Pakistani team but it lacked good combination, the meeting agreed.
However, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi gave a free hand to the coaches.
Talking to coaches, Chairman PCB said I have full confidence in you and will give you full support regarding the coaching of the players.
During meeting, the foreign coaches informed about the plan to improve the performance of the team.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi agreed with the suggestions of the coaches.
Director International Cricket Usman Wahla was also present on the occasion.
