Thousands turn up at Copenhagen Mela to celebrate 75 years of Pakistan-Denmark Diplomatic Relations

Thousands of Pakistanis had turned up in Copenhagen at Copenhagen Mela to kick start celebrations of 75 years of Pakistan and Denmark Diplomatic Relations.

On this occasion, Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Sophie H Andersen, Jakob Linulf, Denmark´s Ambassador to Pakistan, Shoaib Sarwar, Pakistan's Ambassador to Denmark and Sikandar Siddique, Former Member of the Danish Parliament and leader of the Green Party cut a cake on this occasion.

Pakistan and Denmark established their diplomatic relations in 1949 and there are more than 40,000 Pakistanis living in Denmark which is an important link between the two countries.
