Jamiat UIema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Thursday claimed that there are chances of political workers being kidnapped over the no-confidence move, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the media along with Balochistan National Party (Mengal) Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal, JUI-F supremo Fazl lambasted the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) and said creating an environment of anarchy is the need of the time for the government at the moment.
“I am in the assembly since 1988 and went on to experience many phases in my political career. In such a situation, the government resorts to wicked tactics to sabotage the opposition,” Fazl added.
Flashing a smile on his face, Fazl hit back the premier by saying “There is no need to panic”.
Fazl took a jibe at the PTI-led government and said: “I have never seen a coward government like this in my entire political career.
When he was asked the question of his meeting with the delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), he remained shy to respond. But Fazl went on to say that some things are meant to hide and revealed at the right time.
Akthar Mengal said that the political temperature is much more intensified than expected.
Mengal said: “If we as an opposition bears the tenure of PTI-led government for more than three years, so we could bear it for another 14 days as well.”
Mengal went on to say that the no-confidence motion will clear the air.
