Fazl expresses happiness over passage of 26th Amendments Bill in Senate

JUI Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has expressed happiness and prayed to Almighty Allah after the passage of 26th Amendments Bill in Senate, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media outside parliament, Fazl said “Alhamdulillah, we are happy with the process of constitutional amendment”. He said, “We have to serve the country, we have to serve the constitution, we stand with the country's system, constitution and law.”. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said JUI tried its best to remove the flaws in the amendment.
He claimed JUI will serve the country, strengthen the constitution. To a question why he took part in minus Justice Mansoor Ali Shah formula, Maulana said, “We did not fight a battle of personalities”. Fazl stressed that “All judges are respected for JUI, we don't make anyone controversial, minus Justice Mansoor Ali Shah was not his agenda”.
JUI chief said both Qazi Faiz Isa and Mansoor Ali Shah are respected. He urged the media not to make the judges controversial.
