Punjab CM reviews three ongoing projects, sets completion deadline

Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi made a surprise visit to three ongoing projects in Lahore the same day, and expressed his displeasure over slow pace of work on Samanabad underpass project. He gave a deadline of 30 March to complete the Lahore Bridge project, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, the CM visited the Lahore Bridge expansion project on Friday, where construction work was going on in full swing, and set a completion deadline of 30 March for the project.
After a brief visit to the Lahore Bridge, the Chief Minister directly headed to Samanabad underpass project where he expressed his indignation over the delay in the project. He issued instructions that the project should be completed by April 30.
He also directed the LDA officials to accelerate the construction work on the project in order to complete it within the stipulated time.
These projects be completed as soon as possible, he continued, warning that unjustified delay on public projects is not acceptable.
Later, Mohsin Naqvi went to Kalma Chowk without any protocol to review the CBD project and was given a briefing by CBD CEO Imran Amin. “The project will be inaugurated on March 23 per government directives,” Imran Amin told the CM.
Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, DC Rafia Haider, Secretary Housing Captain (R) Zafar, CEO CBD Imran Amin, MD WASA Ghafran Ahmed, and CE Habib Construction Services were present on this occasion.
