Delivery and C-section services have been discontinued in private hospitals on health cards, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
As per the details, the health card facility is now only available in government hospitals.
Additionally, private hospitals have also stopped eye surgeries on health cards as well due to complaints about substandard lenses.
The Punjab Health Initiative Management Company (PHIMC) has issued a declaration regarding health card.
The decision to stop gynaecology treatment in private hospitals sparked concerns among the public.
