Rs1.2b released for Lahore hospitals to buy medicines

The Punjab Finance Department has released Rs1.2 billion funds for purchase of medicines for hospitals located in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to details, all the hospitals of Lahore will now be able to buy medicines for patients with this budget.

The finance department has transferred this budget to the Department of Specialized Healthcare. 

Furthermore, Rs600 million were transferred to District Headquarters (DHQ) hospitals in connection with their operational expenditures.
