A case has been registered in the Margalla police station regarding the Centaurus Mall fire, 24NewsHD reported 

The case has been registered under Section 436. According to the FIA, unidentified persons set the shopping mall on fire for unknown reasons.

Earlier, a fire broke out in the food court of the Centaurus Mall in Islamabad.

No causalities were reported however, the fire was extinguished after two hours of hectic efforts.

Personnel of the Pakistan Navy and the PAF assisted in the firefighting mission.

The mall was sealed off and the district admin made a request to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for reviewing the building structure.
