Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Attaullah Tarar on Monday highlighted the perceived fragility of the legal cases against former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Tarar while addressing a meeting in Murree asserted that "all the cases made against Mian Nawaz Sharif are weak. He announced that Mian Nawaz Sharif would be granted bail prior to his return home.
Tarar also revealed that he had consulted with Shahid Khaqan Abbasi before making his statements.
The PML-N leader expressed enthusiasm for Nawaz Sharif's upcoming return, stating that he would be warmly welcomed on October 21.
Tarar also mentioned that the preparations for the reception were creating an atmosphere reminiscent of election rallies.
Despite heavy rain during Ata Tarar's address, he continued his speech.
During his speech, he emphasized Nawaz Sharif's role in the development and construction of the country, asserting that "wherever there is a sign of construction and development in the whole country, the stamp of Nawaz Sharif is on it."
Tarar further claimed that Pakistan experienced no inflation, unemployment, or economic problems during Nawaz Sharif's tenure in 2018.
He attributed these positive aspects to Sharif's leadership and stated that Nawaz Sharif's return would bring about an era of construction, development, and prosperity to combat inflation.
Tarar also pointed out that 8-storey buildings were constructed in Murree and signs of destruction were created.
“No one was allowed to build higher buildings during our time”, he hinted.
