Two cops martyred in terrorist attack on Tank police van

Two policemen were martyred while three were injured in a terrorist attack on a police van in the limits of SMA police station near Pathankot in Tank on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, the terrorists made their escape good after committing the crime.
The police said that the van was on a routine patrol when the terrorists targeted the vehicle.
However, the injured and the martyrs were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital in Tank.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the terrorist attack on the police post near Pathankot area in Tank.
In his message, Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the two policemen who were martyred in firing. He expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyred police personnel and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The minister saluted the brave men of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, says KP police have made eternal sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
Mohsen Naqvi said that the whole nation values these sacrifices and the entire nation is united in the complete elimination of the terrorists of Fitnah Al-Khawarij.
