A man shot his niece dead over matrimonial dispute in Hajipura, a suburb of Jampur, on Tuesday reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, accused Khuda Bakhsh wanted to marry his son Fida Hussain with his 14-year-old niece Shakeela Bibi.
In this regard, the accused talked to his brother Jan Sher and on refusal he killed her niece with gunfire and escaped from the crime scene, the police said.
On receiving information, Hajipura police reached the spot and register a case against accused on the complaint of his brother and started searching him.
