10 new buses added to BRT Peshawar fleet

As many as 10 new buses for BRT Peshawar have reached the KP capital at its depot as part of 30 new buses being added to the fleet in a bid to enhance the commuting facility for its passengers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“BRT Peshawar is the best transport facility of international standard. All new buses will soon be part of the system,” a spokesperson said.

The bus service will soon have 30 new buses arriving from China and will be added to its fleet taking the total number to 158 buses. A BRT spokesman said the new buses had left China to join the fleet in Peshawar.
He said each bus would have a length of 18 metres and would run on the express route, the most popular among passengers with no frequent stops.
The spokesperson further said the BRT administration was attempting to provide best possible commuting facilities to passengers and these new buses would accommodate around 3,750 passengers daily.
It was inaugurated on August 13, 2020, and is the fourth BRT system in the country.
