Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) doctors implanted the pacemaker in actress She Butt’s heart.

After the operation, she was shifted to the ward and will remain under treatment in PIC for a few days.

Sheba Butt was hospitalized after having a cardiac arrest.

In a message to the Punjab government, she made an appeal for aiding her treatment.

According to the actress, the doctors kept her in an emergency instead of admitting her.

The government sprang into action after Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi took notice. 

She also expressed gratitude to the chief minister and the Punjab government for providing her with the best medical facilities.

“I am also grateful to Punjab information and doctors,” she said. Doctors are doing their best, she added.

Legendary artist Sohail Ahmed also visited the Punjab Institute of Cardiology to enquire after Sheeba Butt.

He hoped the ailing star will get well soon and heaped praise on her saying Sheeba is a very stylish actress.

He stressed that she should not consider herself alone.
