Three more doctors die of coronavirus in Karachi

As the second wave of Covid-19 gave no signs of receding, three more doctors died of coronavirus during the last 24 hours in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
With these latest fatalities, the number of doctors killed due to the disease in the province of Sindh has risen to 45, 25 of them from Karachi.
Fighting on the frontline of the pandemic the doctors and the paramedical staff are facing the brunt of the deadly disease. Retired from Jinnah Hospital, Dr Tahir Amin Chaudhry, Dr Waseemuddin from a private clinic and former Health Director General Dr Abdus Sattar died of coronavirus.
As many as 176 doctors and paramedical staff have died of the Covid-19 throughout Pakistan with the number of affected healthcare workers topping 11,000.
