Parliamentary Leader PPP and Chairperson Foreign Affairs Committee Senate Sherry Rehman, says PPP rejects the mini-budget, as contrary to the government claims, the increase in taxes will impact prices of daily use items, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet on Saturday, “PPP rejects this mini-budget of the government and International Monetary Fund (IMF),” she added.

The PPP leader further said that the government is going to impose 17 percent General Sales Tax (GST) on several items which will increase inflation and put additional burden on the already inflation-hit people.
As per reports, Advisor to PM on Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin stated that the federal government will table a mini-budget next week.
