Snowboarding championship held at Malam Jabba Ski Resort

The two-day National Ski and Snowboarding Championship with the collaboration of security forces in Malam Jabba was concluded on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Peshawar Corps Commander Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat was the chief guest at the event.
Apart from ski and snowboarding competitions, cultural and food stalls were also set up in the two-day National Ski and Snowboarding Championship. A musical night and spectacular fireworks were also organized for the tourists. More than 100 players from all over Pakistan besides abroad participated in the Snow Festival. The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa particularly participated in the championship with fever and enthusiasm.
They appreciated the organization of the championship and insisted on organizing the games in the future as well.
They said that holding such festivals and events in Swat Valley is clear proof that these areas are peaceful.
