JUI-F’s Maulana Ghafoor Hydari third time lucky!

In a surprise development, Returning Officer in NA-261 Kalat-Mastung constituency changed the results for third time. After the third counting on Sunday, the RO declared JUI-F candidate Maulana Ghafoor Hydari as successful, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

While on the day of the election, the Election Commission of Pakistan declared Balochistan National Party (BNP)’s candidate Sardar Akhtar Mengal as successful from this constituency.

Again on February 9, Returning Officer declared Akhtar Mengal successful by issuing a second Form 47.

The RO changed the result for the third time on February 11 after Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hydari provided all Forms 45 to RO as a proof.

As a result of third counting, the RO declared Ghafoor Hydari as winner and Akhtar Mengal as runner-up in the constituency.
