Mehwish Hayat files petition against Adil Raja in SHC

After Kubra Khan’s initiative, actress Mehwish Hayat now has filed a petition in Sindh High Court (SHC) against Adil Farooq Raja for running a campaign against her on social media, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Mehwish Hayat in her petition that was filed by her lawyer on Wednesday stated: “False and serious allegations were levelled against me on social media.”
“Those who were making false allegations are mentally ill. I want the accusers to be punished,” she prayed to the court.
She also maintained “Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had been contacted but no action had been taken against the accuser yet”.
Advocate Khawaja Naveed Ahmad requested the court to order removal of all defamatory and scandalous online content from social media platforms immediately.
Previously actress Kubra Khan filed a petition against Adil Raja and fought bravely for the rights of herself and co-stars but the smear campaign against the actresses on social media did not stop.
It is to be noted here that retired army officer Adil Raja few days ago had indirectly levelled serious allegations against four top Pakistani actresses, Mahira Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Kubra Khan and Sajal Aly. He did not write their names instead used initials of their names as K.K, M.K, M.H and S.A.
