MS Jinnah Hospital Lahore transferred for failing to provide protocol to bureaucrat

Dr. Yahya Sultan, the Medical Superintendent (MS) of Jinnah Hospital Lahore has been transferred and placed on compulsory leave for 120 days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
This decision comes as a consequence of Dr. Sultan’s alleged failure to provide the expected protocol to a senior bureaucrat.
According to the notification, Dr. Sultan will be on leave from July 10 to November 6, 2024.
Dr. Kashif Jahangir, an associate professor of grade 19, has been appointed as the acting MS of Jinnah Hospital during Dr. Sultan’s absence.
Likewise, Dr Rabia Mahmood, the Director of Finance at Jinnah Hospital, has also been transferred due to her failure to manage financial affairs in accordance with the directives of the Department of Specialized Healthcare.
Dr Rabia Mahmood has been ordered to report to the Health Department immediately.
