As part of action against illegal recruitments in the National Assembly, Additional Secretary Establishment Yasin Saleemi, who was earlier made an OSD, has been suspended, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday, quoting sources.

Yasin Saleemi who was a grade 21 officer was suspended by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and was also handed a charge-sheet by the NA Secretariat, the sources said.

The sources said a questionnaire was also given to Yasim Saleemi seeking answers.

Sources in the National Assembly said if Yasin Saleemi could not satisfy the NA speaker then further legal action will be taken.

Ayaz Sadiq had earlier made Yasin Saleemi an OSD on the charges of illegal recruitments.

It may be mentioned here that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is also working on an inquiry against Yasin Saleemi.
