Taking notice of the difficulties pilots face in receiving Global Positioning System (GPS) signals in Lahore and Karachi regions, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Monday directed them to immediately report such issues to Air Traffic Control in future, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The CAA said that in the event of not receiving signals, planes found it hard to navigate.
GPS is a satellite navigation system that provides distance, time, and position measurements in the world coordinate system.
To put it simply, it is a system that helps a pilot to navigate.
Today, modern GPS navigators are no longer limited to just finding the right route.
They will help you find it at the fastest pace.
