A security guard shot dead the owner of the shop where he was working in a brisk market of Lahore on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Owner Ghulam Rasool breathed his last on the spot after shot by his security guard in Ghalib Market.

A police party led by SP Gulberg Raza has arrested the guard who accused his owner of “doing witchcraft on him”.

The police also recovered the murder weapon from the accused.

The SP Gulberg said the police is investigating the incident and collecting evidence from the crime scene. The dead body is being shifted to hospital for a post-mortem, he added.
