Superior University Friday held its 5th Annual Student Convocation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Chancellor Superior University, honourable Governor Punjab, Mr Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

The other worthy guests of honour included Provincial Minister on Higher Education and Information Technology, Raja Yasir Humayoun, Chairman Superior University, Chaudhry Abdurrehman and honourable Rector, Dr Sumaira Rehman.

During the convocation, 300 students were awarded gold medals. 24New TV channel’s Director Programming Khurram Kaleem and Digital Media Manager Irfan Ahmad Baloch also were among gold medallists. They received gold medals for completing their M.Phil degrees in the subject of Mass Communication.

The event started on a lighter note where students exhibited their singing and acting talent on stage and set the tone for the day. Host of the ceremony, Mr Haseeb Khan called the students upon the stage in an orderly manner to receive their degrees and gold medals from the Chief Guest and worthy Guests of Honour. These guests then delivered profound speeches to congratulate the Superior graduates on their achievements and reassure them of future success.

The Honourable Governor and Provincial Minister appreciated Superior’s valuable contribution to the national academic circuit by producing cutting-edge research and market informed graduates.

Worthy Chairman Superior University, Chaudhry Abdurrehamn, assured his students that Superior’s doors will always be open to them and they should consider Superior their second home.

Esteemed Rector Superior University, Dr Sumaira Rehman, expressed her pride on the delivery of the promise made under the 3U1M program that, “Superior will never become a factory of unemployed graduates.”

The convocation was attended by students’ families who were teary with pride on witnessing their children’s success.
