Zardari condoles death of journalist, poet Farhad Zaidi

Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari Friday expressed condolences over the death of veteran journalist and poet Farhad Zaidi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The former president condoled the death of the journalist with his family and said that the nation had been deprived of a progressive scholar.

“Farhad Zaidi served the country and democracy through his writings and poetry,” said he and also prayed for the rest of the departed soul in eternal peace and the elevation his ranks in the hereafter.
