Police bundled PTI leaders, including Hafiz Farhat Abbas and Lal Badshah Advocate, into their van and left.

The rally had reached the GPO Chowk under the leadership of Ali Ijaz Butter when police first baton-charged them, and later picked them up and took them to police station.

Police also smashed a vehicle parked at the site of the protest.
