Govt to notify summer vacations in schools from June 1 next week

Due to the intensified heat spell, the summer vacations will start in public schools from June 1 as the government has all set to notify it formally next week.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, during the summer vacations this year, the school will remain close for two months from June 1 to July 31.
The report said that the education department has directed the school administration to give summer vacation work to the children till May 31.
The education department has also directed the schools that the results for exams of the class first to eighth will also be announced before the end of this month.
As per the directions of the education department, new syllabuses will be distributed to government school children during the summer holidays.
The new academic year will begin on August 1.
