The Sindh High Court has rejected a petition for former premier Mian Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz and Sulaiman Shehbaz to bring him back to Pakistan from London through Interpol.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the petition was filed by a citizen Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi. The court declared the petition inadmissible.
The Sindh High Court said that the petition seems to be more than the public interest has been filed to gain publicity.
There is a decision of the Supreme Court that the purpose of public interest should not be publicity, the court said.
On the other hand, the petitioner said in the petition that those who have been punished should complete their punishment and those who have criminal cases against them should face them.
