Bazdar upgrades 29,950 govt employees to make them happy

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has taken an important initiative on the directive of Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, for junior government employees and upgraded them.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the government has approved the long-pending up-gradation of 29,950 employees of different provincial departments.
According to details, in a meeting chaired by Law Minister Raja Basharat, a special committee of the CM approved the up-gradation.
The law minister said that 14,387 wardens of the jail department have been upgraded from grade 5 to 7, 1520 head wardens from grade 7 to 9 and 162 chief wardens from grade 9 to 11.
The 49 religious teachers in the prison department have been upgraded from grade 12 to 15, and the grade of 373 telephone operators in all departments has been increased from grade 7 to 11.
The scale of 11,184 drivers of all departments has been upgraded from 4 to 5, Grade 9 to 11 of 695 supervisors of Social Welfare Department, 928 watchmen of Forest Department and Grade 5 and 7 to 9 of 30 head watchmen.
Similarly, 162 wild inspectors of the Forest Department have been upgraded from 9th to 11th grade and 2 physical instructors from 8th to 9th grade while 458 caretakers of the higher education department have been upgraded from 9th to 11th grade.
The meeting was attended by senior officials of relevant departments including Additional Chief Secretary Punjab, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Secretary Law and Secretary Finance.
It is pertinent to mention that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar will return home tomorrow after performing Umrah. Chief left for Saudi Arabia on November 7.
