Gen Bajwa visits Armoured Corps Nowshehra, offers prayers for martyrs

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa Thursday visited Armoured Corps Regimental Centre Nowshehra and laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha for Martyrs.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the COAS pinned badges of rank on the shoulders of Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj to formally install him as Colonel Commandant of Armoured Corps.
The COAS lauded Armoured Corps as being a decisive arm in the battlefield for displaying the highest standards of professional excellence and commendable performance during various operations.
Gen Bajwa emphasised that commanders at all levels must stay focused on the professional training of all ranks.
Being a technology extensive component of the Army, staying abreast with the latest developments is imperative for Armoured Corps, COAS remarked.
