Wedding halls, restaurants may be shut down during SCO Summit in Islamabad

Wedding halls, restaurants and cafes in Islamabad are likely to close during Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

However, government sources contradicting the news said that there is no truth in the news of marriage halls, restaurants and cafes being closed.

No such order has been issued by the federal government or the district administration, sources said.

Sources said that marriage halls will be able to organize their activities according to the traffic police's route plan.

Any type of traffic will be banned on the route of the meeting, sources said.
