Dengue virus outbreaks in Karachi

Dengue virus went out of control in Karachi Sunday as 113 more fall victim to the lethal disease, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Dengue became very alarming in the Quaid’s city as the cases of the virus increase terrifyingly. The hospitals started to fill with patients as the dangerous mosquitoes are on the loose.

According to the statistics given by the Sindh Government, 113 patients were reported being infected with the deadly virus in the government hospitals. This is the data other than private laboratories and hospitals where numerous patients are under treatment 

The most affected is the Karachi East district where 66 cases were reported. Karachi Central reported 25, Karachi South 11 Karachi West 2 and districts Korangi and Malir had 6 and 2 respectively.

Since the start of this month, 843 cases of dengue have been reported in Karachi and a terrifying 1265 were reported in the last month of August.

The doctors and specialists have recommended people to stay indoors and follow precautions to prevent from Dengue.
