A Wapda employee in Multan has been arrested for digging a tunnel in his official quarter to capture demons, reported 24NewsHd TV Channel Monday.

According to details, a man has dug a 20 feet deep tunnel at his official residence that connects the courtyard and storeroom of the house. The man, identified as Asif, is a Wada employee and resident of Wapda Colony Peeran Ghaib area, said he was digging the tunnels to catch the demons that are possessing his wife.

The man was arrested after the residents of the colony got suspicious over the presence of heaps of soil deposits outside his house and informed the Wapda security.

Wapda Security has sealed the Quarter after refilling the tunnel.

The man said his wife was possessed by supernatural beings and he had been digging the tunnel for months in an attempt to catch these demons.

He has been arrested by Mari Police and has been shifted to an unknown place. Police have also searched the quarter and said the real motives of the accused and the facts relating to the incident would come into the light soon.
