Three-day Pakistan Literature Festival wins hearts

The long-awaited three-day Pakistan Literature Festival (PLF) 2023, from February 10 to 12, is going on at Alhamra Hall Lahore in collaboration with Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi and Lahore Arts Council.
The literary programme is being attended by a large number of people and many prominent literary personalities including Mustansar Hussain Tarar, Anwar Maqsood, and Nasira Iqbal.
Senior journalists, including Hamid Mir, Suhail Warraich, Asma Shirazi and Mujeebur Rehman Shami also took part in the event and delivered their massages.
Music sessions and the book launching and poetry sessions were also held during the programme.
Journalist and anchorperson Asma Shirazi’s book was also unveiled at the event.
On the second day of the event, there was a thought-provoking session on “Civilizational Challenges of the 21st Century, Pakistan and Thoughts of Iqbal” with insightful contributions of Nasira Iqbal.
The famous singers like Ali Zafar, Sahir Ali Bagga, and opera singers Bushra Ansari and Asma Abbas also graced the stage by their wonderful performances and won the hearts of the audience.

The people have greatly appreciated the programme and demanded that the government arrange more such literary programmes.
“This sort of events relax the mood during the critical and hard times in the country due to economic crisis,” they said.
