Loads of weapons have been seized from outside the session court in Lahore on Tuesday, saving the city from a major disaster, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The police’s timely action saved the session court from a major mishap. The police seized the weapons from near the Baba Ground Gate and arrested seven accused namely: Imran, Riaz, Shahzad Ahsan, Farooq, Bilal and Sadiq.

The police seized a Kalashnikov, a Triple Two, five pistols, over 1,000 rounds and 15 magazines from the accused.

The court security incharge, Inspector Mubashir Awan said the accused have been shifted to Islampura Police Station for further investigation.
