PPP candidate from DIK returns party ticket, joins JUI

Quite surprisingly, a ticketholder of the Pakistan Peoples Party from Dera Ismail Khan has returned the party ticket and joined the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Reportedly, PPP ticketholder Makhdoom Aftab Haider Shah from DI Khan, returned his ticket to the party. He is the son of late provincial finance minister Makhdoom Murid Kazim Shah.
Aftab Haider announced to join Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s JUI during a press conference.
PK 11 comes in Maulana Fazl’s constituency NA 44.
Besides Aftab Haider Shah, Sajjada Nashin Balut Sharif Makhdoom Murtajaz Shah also announced joining the JUI on this occasion.
Former opposition leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Maulana Lutfur Rahman, ex-federal minister Maulana Asad Mahmood, Maulana Ziaur Rahman, Musa Khan Baloch, and all ticketholders of JUI from Dera Ismail Khan Division were also present during the press conference.
Son of former MNA joins PPP
Separately, spiritual personality Syed Imran Mohsin Gilani has announced to join the Pakistan Peoples Party.
Syed Imran Mohsin Gilani met PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House in Lahore and joined the party. Senior leaders of PPP were also present on the occasion.
Imran Mohsin Gilani is the grandson of Syed Shah Mohsin Kamal Abul Makaram, the Sajjada Nasheen of Qubola Sharif Dargah, and the son of former member of the National Assembly Athar Gilani.
