Bollywood actor Anupam Kher on Sunday took to Twitter to share that his mother Dulari, brother Raju, sister-in-law Rima and niece Vrinda have tested positive for coronavirus.

Towards the end of the clip, Anupam Kher thanked the doctors and the Bombay Municipal Corporation for their support and quick action. He concluded the video by saying that his brother’s house is being sanitised.

Anupam Kher's tweet came a day after veteran Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan, his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19. They are currently admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital.

Anupam Kher is best known for his performances in films such as Saaransh, Ram Lakhan, Lamhe, Khel, Darr, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara and Special 26, to name a few. He was last seen in the 2019 crime-thriller One Day: Justice Delivered in which he co-starred with Esha Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Anusmriti Sarkar.
