Mobile app introduced for welfare of Pakistani artists

A mobile app titled ‘Pakistan Key Fankaar’ has been introduced by Alhamra Arts Council for the online registration of artistes. The app is designed for the welfare of artistes across Pakistan.

The app titled "Pakistan Key Fankaar" is exclusively for the welfare of the artists across Pakistan.

Through this historic achievement of Punjab government, the profiles of registered artists from across the country will be available on the app.

This app will be activated soon for the registration of all artists belonging to Pakistan.

Taking about the App, LAC Executive Director Saman Rai said: “Artists from all over Pakistan would be able to use this app created in collaboration with PITB. Through this app, artists will not only be able to record their data easily. And also the collected data can be used in various welfare projects for the artist's community which is undoubtedly a remarkable achievement of the Department of Information.”

She further adds, “Punjab government is taking various important measures for the artist's community affected by the COVID-19 pandemic including initiative Artist Support Fund and now this app.”
