Pakistan's fast bowler Haris Rauf has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the fastest fast bowler to complete a century of wickets in T20 Internationals. Rauf reached this milestone during the World Cup match against Canada, taking his tally to 100 wickets in just 71 matches.
Rauf surpassed Ireland's Mark Adair, who reached 100 wickets in 72 matches, making him the third fastest overall to achieve this feat.
The only two bowlers to have reached 100 wickets in fewer matches are spinners—Afghanistan's Rashid Khan, who took 54 matches, and Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga, who took 63 matches.
Additionally, Rauf is the second Pakistani bowler to reach 100 T20 International wickets, following Shadab Khan, who currently holds the record for the most T20 International wickets by a Pakistani bowler with 107 wickets.
