Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, the man behind dramas like Sadqey Tumharay, Pyaaray Afzal and most recently Meray Pass Tum Ho and Kaaf Kangana is now working on a script similar to the popular Turkish period drama, Dirilis: Ertugrul.

During an interview with a private news channel, the writer said that he has talked to actor Humayun Saeed and that he is going to write a script like Ertugrul.

Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar said that we have to introduce such kind of topics in the society to aware the people about the history of Islam.

We are stuck in typical saas-bahu topics, so we do not pay attention to topics like Ertugrul Ghazi, he went on to say. 

“I am not just thinking about it, I am going to start penning the script from tomorrow,” said Qamar to the TV host.
