GACA issues new guidelines for Pakistani passengers

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has issued a new travel guide for travelers to Saudi Arabia from all over Pakistan, including Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV on Thursday.
According to new guideline, passengers and airlines violating the new Standard operating procedures (SOP) will be heavily fined.
GACA revealed that new guidelines on institutional quarantine mandatory for all airlines carrying passengers.
According to GACA, restrictions on completion of quarantine period at one's own expense are mandatory for travelers with resident and tourist visas.
Airlines involved in the violation will be fined, explained GACA.
GACA revealed that violation of isolation and quarantine will result in a fine of 200,000 Saudi Riyals (SAR) or imprisonment for more than two years.
Moreover, penalties for repeated violations will be doubled and violators will be deported, GACA revealed.
GACA said passengers belonging to certain categories from restricted countries will have to be quarantined at home for five days
GACA explained, institutional and in-house quarantine guidelines must be followed for countries with travel permits and restrictions.
