Balochistan’s chief minister Jam Kamal Tuesday took a U-turn over his resignation from the Balochistan Awami Party’s president slot as he claimed that he has not tendered his resignation from the post yet, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Earlier, Kamal, who is under pressure to resign as Chief Minister, had made the announcement of his resignation from the BAP president slot on the microblogging website Twitter.
However, now talking to media in Quetta, Kamal revealed that he announced his resignation only on Twitter and has not submitted formally to the party.
He said he was still the party’s president and claimed that his friends in the party have insisted that he should not resign from the president slot till the holding of the intra-party elections.
Kamal said there were only differences with his colleagues and there was no not hatred among them.
He said he had made clear to them from day one that it was better to sit together to resolve the differences than joining the PDM platform.
He said he has the full support of PTI’s parliamentary leader in the Balochistan Assembly and other members as well.
