Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf resigns on ‘health grounds’

Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Ashtar Ausaf has resigned from his post, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday, quoting sources.
According to the sources, Ashtar Ausaf cited health reasons for leaving his post.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed Ashtar Ausaf to continue work until his replacement is found.
The sources further said that the government has started to look for a new attorney general.
